Immigration Bail Bonds in Duval County
Our Duval County bail bond agency is one of only a few agencies statewide that are licensed to post immigration bail bonds. WE POST IMMIGRATION BONDS STATEWIDE
The agency for immigration services is ICE (Immigration and Customs enforcement). When someone is arrested in Duval county and has an "ICE Hold” on them. This means that ICE does have an interest in this person. This doesn't mean that that person can't be bonded out. If a bond is set by the county government, that person is eligible for bond. However, once bail is posted for the detainee, ICE generally has 72 hours to decide whether or not to extradite him/her to the Immigration facility in south Florida. If ICE does not show, then the defendant will be released into the custody of the local bail bondsman who posted bond.
If ICE does decide to come and extradite the defendant, then an immigration bond may also be needed. If no bond is posted by the county government, this usually means that ICE will be coming to get the defendant and extradite him/her to the Krome Immigration Facility in south Florida. After extradition, the defendant will go in from of a judge and then an immigration bond will be decided.
